Have you ever wondered?

Have you ever wondered why you wonder?
That’s easy, it’s part of your nature.
You wonder like the river flows, the tree grows and the crow crows.
Have you ever wondered why others don’t wonder?
Perhaps they do but it pains them.
Perhaps they know it’s more important to get things done.
Who knows?
They do, in their heart of hearts.
I wonder.
Have you ever wondered why wondering is not allowed?
Who or what is stopping it?
Is it you?
Is it the others?
Is it the voice or the feeling that disapproves?
Inside of you or just in the air.
Have you ever wondered what stopped us wondering?
Children wonder, naturally.
It’s in their nature.
Until we have to decide what we want to do.
Not who we want to be.
Because the answer would be ‘I want to be me’.
And me serves no purpose.
Nothing gets done.
When the world is a machine.
Except it’s not a machine.
And nature does not hurry, yet everything gets accomplished, so said Lao Tzu.
Although I do wonder!
